What is Morpho?

Morpho is a decentralized protocol providing users with overcollateralized lending and borrowing opportunities on the Ethereum Virtual Machine. With Morpho, you can lend and borrow ERC20 & ERC4626 Tokens. The protocol uses immutable EVM smart contracts to facilitate interactions and serve as a trustless layer for lenders, borrowers, and applications. Overcollateralized lending in Morpho involves collateralization, liquidation mechanisms, dynamic interest rates, open participation, and non-custodial design.

The Morpho Protocol is governed with MORPHO token. You can also build your own lending use case with Morpho's developers tools such as Morpho Vaults, Oracles, Public Allocator, Bundlers, Subgraph, Rewards, and API.
