The platform is built on layer 2 Optimism, a scaling solution for Ethereum, to offer lower gas costs and higher scalability. Kwenta offers isolated margin, up to 25x leverage, and uses a hybrid oracle approach with Chainlink and PYTH to determine asset prices. The platform requires traders to deposit sUSD and has a $40 minimum deposit requirement to incentivize timely liquidations.
