What is Solayer?

Solayer is a restaking protocol on Solana, providing on-chain dApps with enhanced capabilities for securing block space and prioritizing transaction inclusion. It aims to improve network bandwidth through restaked security.

There are two core components on Solayer, which are the Restaking itself and the Shared Validator Network. Restaking component control asset flow and conversion into Solayer tokens like sSOL, distribute the stake across validators and AVSs, manages validator selection and MEV-boosted returns. Shared Validator Network allows Solana-based chains to share security and distributes network resources based on stake.
